DOLSON featured in IOTM Blog

This months post from Indie On The Move’s blog featured a story from Dolson. The title of the entry COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE! featured stories from Indie bands across the country about the tough lessons learned on the road.

The following is an excerpt from the blog.

“Last year we played New York City,” begins Andy Dolson of the northeastern Ohio-based, Dolson. “I fell asleep on a subway train, ended up in Coney Island and lost my guitar player’s pedal board on the subway, only to get it returned by the Coney Island police two days later. I got a parking ticket in Manhattan, and the next week earned myself a $140 ticket in North Carolina for watching It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia while driving. To top it all off, three weeks later I got a letter in the mail from NYCDOT. It was a snapshot of my car in the intersection with a red light, another $50 ticket.” As if that were not enough in the touring world of Dolson, “This year we got ‘pulled’ over by a cop directing traffic for not wearing a seatbelt and proceeded to hit him with our trailer.”
