Update from Nash Vegas

Greetings from Nashville!

I’m just watching the sun go down on a beautiful sunny fall day here in TN. It’s been a crazy 2 days since I’ve been here. I got in around 3:30 AM Tuesday morning. Had some last minute scrambling to put a band together for the gig Thursday, but I think we’ve got that on lock down.

Yesterday I got to play a short set for Kairos, a young adult group that meets at Brentwood Baptist in Brentwood, TN. That was fun. Then I met up with some friends for dinner at PM, and hung out at the Studio for a bit. The plan was to have a bonfire, that we’ve been planning to do for literally a year. No like, there’s wood sitting in a fire-pit behind the studio that has been there since November of last year, but we’ve never gotten around to actually burning it.

Today, I got to sit in with my friend Vance Powell while he mixed the new Whigs record. Vance is always a good hang, and a wealth of audio engineering knowledge, and he has a pretty impressive beard. It’s 17 years long. ( I think beards at that length should be measured in years rather than any traditional form of measurement).

Right now, I’m getting some work done at this coffee shop finalizing art work for T-shirts, so if you ordered your T-shirt, they are well on their way. If you haven’t ordered one yet. Check out www.dolsonmusic.com/pre-order to get yours.

I’ve got rehearsal tonight in a few hours. If you’re in Nashville tomorrow night, come out to The End for the show Dolson, Lorien, The Embrace.
