Dolson Winter Tour with The Speedbumps: Recap

We left off somewhere in Ohio, but don’t worry. It’s about time that I filled you in.

So Monday night I met back up with The Speedbumps in Raleigh, NC, at The Pour House Music Hall. I got to take some pictures of the show.



and. . .I got to see my friends Terry and Hix.

Later that night we drove back to Surf City, NC to the Beach Crib!


Thats right! We stayed right up on the Beach. I woke up to this.


On Tuesday night we played at the Juggling Gypsy, met some friends, and spent our last night at the Beach house.

Despite frigid January temperatures I deemed it necessary to go for a swim before we left for Charleston. Check it out.

Yeah, I’m an idiot. I know, but it was worth it.

That night we played at The Village Tavern in Mount Pleasant, SC, just North of downtown Charleston.

On Thursday, we had a day off in Charleston that we took full advantage of.

Micah made me take this one.

And Sammy will pay big money for me to take this one down.

Here’s the sun setting over the Harbor.

On Friday we had to head back North to Charlotte. We played The Evening Muse, and it was by far the best night of the tour.

There was a packed house and the whole crowd was into the music. Who could ask for a better way to end the tour.

Well….except for a good night sleep at La Quinta.

Now we’re all back in Ohio. If you’re in Kent on Wednesday night Erik and I will be at The Water Street Tavern on Main Street. Come on out and hang with us.
