November 1: I’m an Uncle!

That’s right. as of 3. . . .something (you’re supposed to know this right?)…my sister and her husband Eric welcomed Kendall Joelle Hays into our family. She’s a big one, 8 lbs 5 ounces, 22″.



I got the text from my mom while I was waiting 2 hours to vote at the Summit County Board of Elections Early Voting Center. There were thousands of people there.

I mean it was really cool to see that many people out voting, but really, we place a lot of trust in people for the whole election thing. If someone wanted to sneak in and vote for someone else it would be easier than cheating on a 7th grade math test.

So…I guess this blog is gonna go in reverse chronological order, cause i want to show you some pictures from the Halloween Concert at the Beachland Ballroom last night. We went to see my best friend’s brother’s girlfriend’s brother’s band. Got that? The Slackjawed Yokels.

They were pretty cool, but the best part of the night was dressing up for halloween. I went as a surfer dude, and my friend aaron went as Winnie the Pooh.

I guess Winnie’s honey addiction has finally caught up to him.

Oh, and my friend Josh and his girlfriend went as Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth.

What a hot couple.

Tomorrow night I’m back in Winston-Salem, NC, and I’ll be spending the week down south. I’ll be posting as often as I can, so check back for pix from the road.
